Under the Angel is a history of the war memorial in Cupar. It includes historical details of the construction of the war memorial but the main focus of this work is the research into the names of the fallen listed on the memorial itself. There is an alphabetical listing of the inscription which is followed by details of the lives and deaths of the fallen. Where the information is available there are photographs and details from newspapers and other sources.
