This is a Bill in 14 clauses, the last of which states 'This Act may be cited as the Tenant Right (Scotland) Act 1882'. It applies only to tenancies of land in excess of two acres used for agriculture or pasture. The title page states that the bill was prepared and brought in by the Prime Minister and Lord Advocate. Printed at the top of the page and on the title page is the name of the Dunfermline Parliamentary Society, which presumably discussed the bill at their meetings.
