A legal record of the Special Case for the School Board of the Burgh of Dunfermline and the Provost, Magistrates, and Town Council of Dunfermline, as representing the Burgh and Community thereof-Parties hereto of the Second Part; for the opinion and Judgement of the court of session, under Section 63 of the ‘Court of Session Act, 1868.’ Both parties were at disagreement as to the rights of the School Board under the 46th section of ‘The Education (Scotland Act, 1872.)The dispute relates to Town Council’s refusal to continue with the payment of the annual grant of £100 from and after Martinmas 1875.
