The minutes for the Town Council also include the minutes for the following committees: Magistrates, Land Coal and Finance Committee, Water Works Committee, Public Park Committee, Carnegie Baths Committee, Executive Committee under Contagious Diseases (Animals) Act, Special Committee as to acquisition of Gas Works. Included are various special reports relating to ongoing business at that time. The minutes for the Police Commission also include the following committees: Magistrates, Finance Committee, Sub-Committee on Police Clothing, Streets and Drainage Committee, Sanitary Committee and Cleansing Committee, Fire Engine and Lighting Committee, Slaughter House Committee and Joint Meeting of Committees of Dunfermline Gas-Light Company and Police Commission. Also includes a short booklet 'Rules and regulations respecting dairies, cow-sheds and milk-shops'.
