This is the minute book for the Dunfermline Unionist Association, the first entry dated 25th October 1900 minutes the formulation of the association and the appointment of the first officials. In this minute they resolve to establish a Unionist Club, later minutes show the group meeting at Club premises. The association was formed to discuss political matters and to put forward candidates to stand as representatives for the area. In the initial minutes Erskine Beveridge was elected president of the association. This volume also also has some loose documents relating the association business slipped into the first few pages of the minute book.
