This book was written to give a short history of the United Presbyterian Church, as well as for use in Bible classes. The writer is Rev Dr Blair of Dunblane, with assistance from Rev Dr Hutton and Rev Principal Cairns. Formerly, Blair had been pastor of a church in Dunfermline, at the Music Hall, North Inglis Street. The introduction refers to Malcolm Canmore and Queen Margaret (pages 2 and 3).
