Minutes of the first general committee meeting, for the Dunfermline Highland Games Committee. Held at Dunfermline City Chambers on 12th October 1983, at 19:00hrs. Apologies from R. Paton and A. Webster were given, and present at this meeting were: L. Wood, M.Russell, T. Wilson, A. Winter, J. Sharp, J. Cameron, J. Duncan, A. Duncan, J. Hegan, G. Reid, W. McDonald, G. Montague, W. Fairgrieve and A. Mitchell. Cheque from Shell (Donation) £200, Cheque for £25 (advert in programme, and invoice for advert in Dunfermline Press for £4.80. Cheese and Wine night arranged for 16th November 1983, for all sponsors. Lord Bruce to be presented with an inscribed tankard. Date of next years games to be Sunday 19th August 1984. Date of next meeting 9.11.1983.
