The volume contains various minutes of meeting the society held between Tuesday 4th November 1902 - Tuesday 11th April 1905. The meetings were mainly held at Lauder Technical School and some at St Margarets Hall both situated in Dunfermline. The first meeting in 1902 was to consider the forming of the Natural History Society for Dunfermline and West Fife and gives list of gentlement who were present they were mainly staff from various schools in the Dunfermline area and the editor of the Dunfermline Press.
