The report was initially compiled Dr Fyfe the County Medical Officer from 1938 to 1959, he died in June of 1959 and the report was completed by the Deputy County Medical officer G. S. Riddell. The report includes a portrait of Dr Fyfe and a list of all the staff employed by the Health and Welfare department, which includes everyone from Doctors and Nurses to Milk Officers and the Rivers' Inspector. The report includes statistical information about the population with reports on aspects relating to health and welfare of the populace such as housing and sanitation.
