Collection of a variety of materials relating to the Dunfermline Civic Guild. Includes details of officials, district branches, constitution and annual reports. The constitution was agreed 11th September 1906, with the first meeting being held on 18th October 1906. The aim of the guild was "to attain for Dunfermline the highest possible state of social well-being, by cultivating in its Citizens a livelier sense of their duties to each other arising out of their privileges as members of the same community, by finding opportunities for the discharge of these duties, and by seeking to eliminate all conditions unfavourable to the progressive development of the civic community".
