This is a bound reprographic. It details a small-pox epidemic in Cupar in 1817. There is a short preface and the first eight pages discuss the benefits of vaccination. Individual cases are then listed in a chronological manner commencing in March 1817 and culminating in June. Symptoms are recorded and the effect that vaccination had on the individual. The text concludes that vaccination has a positive effect on smallpox outbreaks. The local doctor who was consulted by the author was a Dr Grace.
