This document, dated 12th December 1905, is addressed to the Town Clerk of the Corporation of Dunfermline. It informs of an application to be made for a Provisional Order under the Private Legislation Procedure (Scotland) Act, 1899, to be called the Dunfermline and District Tramways Order, 1906, in order to authorise the laying down of a tramway along Hospital Hill. The document is a Notice to Frontagers (ie, the owners, lessees or occupiers of land or property adjoining Hospital Hill) and details whether the tramway will be a single or double line, as well as the distance between footpath and nearest rail.
