This booklet is the result of a project begun in 2014 by the Noth Queensferry Heritage Trust to investigate the names listed on their War Memorial. The booklet outlines the general history behind the war memorial and the numbers killed in action against the numbers for the whole country. It includes information about the names listed on a seperate plaque put up after the second world war. Easch person listed on the memorial appears in the booklet following the order of names given on the memorial. Each entry includes a photograph, where available their military history and details of service and any information about their lives before the war. This booklet serves as a poignant reminder to future generations of the sacrifices made by previous generations.
