Collection of correspondence about the fitting out of the Carnegie Baths in Dunfermline. The letters range in topic covering light fittings to gymnasium equipment, boiler testing to cabinetmakers. The letters describe requirements for the fixtures and fittings and include estimates of costings. The majority of the letters are between H. J. Blanc the Architect and William Reid the Solicitor, but include letters from manufacturers such as Middleton & Townsend and Babcock and Wilcox Limited, specialists such as Royles Limited (Engineers, iron and brass founders), consultants from Herriot Watt College and craftsmen such as Kinnear Moodie & Co. (Carpenters).
