This map of St. Leonard's factory was found in Erskine Beveridge's studio. It shows a plan on the factory with the immediate surrounding area, bound by St. Leonard's Place and the Lyne Burn. It depicts two areas highlighted in pink, one is indicated as an area for a new factory, the other only gives the size of the area. The map also shows the locations of St. Leonard's Well, the supposed site of St. Leonard's Hospital and the site of a graveyard. The plan of the factory gives the locations of the different areas in the factory from office areas and practical areas such as engine rooms and the Joiners shop to the various areas used in the process of weaving, such warping and winding room to the power loom and hand weaving sheds.
