Eikon Bailikee : The Pourtraicture of His Sacred Majestie in His Solitudes and Sufferings is an autobiography of King Charles I. The autobiography was written during his captivity at Carisbrooke Castle in 1648. Although the authorship is attributed to the King it is by no means certain that he was the author. It was originally published on 9 February 1649, ten days after the King was beheaded by Parliament.
