Archives
The Kingdom Caledonian Amateur Football Association was founded in 1984 when the top sides from the East Fife A. F. A. and the Kirkcaldy & District Amateur Football League broke away and amalgamated with the aim of creating a highly competitive league with fewer games in an effort to raise the quality and the profile of amateur football in Fife.\r\n\r\nIt was hoped that the move would improve Fife's representation in the Scottish Amateur Cup and that teams in the latter stages would be a regular occurrence. The now defunct Norton House won the Scottish Amateur Cup in 1989 and were beaten finalists in 1995, 2000 and 2004, and also semi finalists in 1990. Before leaving to join the Junior ranks Ballingry Rovers were Scottish Amateur Cup semi-finalists in 1988; Eastvale were semi finalists in 2002 and Cupar Hearts were beaten finalists in 2007.\r\n\r\nIn the 25 seasons to 2010 Kingdom clubs won the Fife Amateur Cup 18 times.\r\n\r\nAt the Association's 25th anniversary in 2010 only Star Hearts and Strathmiglo Utd remained from the original 10 founder member clubs, with Star the only side to carry their bat through every season as Strathmiglo went into abeyance for a couple of years. \r\n\r\nPast and present member clubs are: Aberdour; Auchtermuchty Bellvue; Balgonie Scotia; Ballingry Rovers; Benarty; Bowhill Rovers; Buckhaven Villa; Burntisland Shipyard; Burntisland Utd.; Cowdenbeath; Cupar Hearts; Eastvale; Fair City; Falkland; Glenrothes Utd.; Greig Park Rangers; Hill of Beath Ramblers; Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts; Kettle Utd., Kinglassie; Kinross Untd; Kirkland; Leven Utd.; Lomond Victoria; Lumphinnans Utd.; Milnathort; Norton House; Rosyth Civil Service; Star Hearts; Strathmiglo Utd.; Tayport; Victoria Rovers; Windygates and Woodside Athletic.
